Perhaps inspired by The Best Job in the World campaign, we now have ‘The Coolest Job‘ campaign.
There’s a print ad. in Bangalore Times too.
Going by the clues (limited!) in the text, I could find only 2 things worth using to start a guess – ‘beverage company’ and ‘more than 75 countries’. Did a Google, of course and landed on 2 possible brands -Â Cadbury Schweppes and SABMiller. And, given the focus on partying and clubs, I’m inclined on a brand from the SABMiller stable.
A note on the Facebook page, however. The Facebook page seems to have been created around July 15th â?? they have 25,000+ likes todayâ?¦the power of targeted Facebook advertising! But, targeted or not is a question worth asking aloud – even with 25,000+, the page seems to have comparatively limited number of â??likesâ?? per post â?? 51, 29, 73, 67, 34â?¦! I’d assume starting the campaign a but earlier may have helped, or at least looking at spreading the word through other media early on may also have helped. For focused campaigns like this, I do wonder how the brand can increase both – page likes and engagement (likes per update and comments) when the time is relatively short. Most campaigns have nailed the former – Facebook ads work quite well in ensuring massive page like numbers, but the engagement remains a moot point.
As for the brand guessing game, since it comes with a unique URL – thecoolestjob.com – one could whois it and see who is behind the effort. I did that too and landed only on this – very clever work by the agency/brand, I’d say.

But then, I tried connecting the dots based on the 2 guesses I already have and guess what! SABMiller’s corporate office is in Bangalore. The address happens to be,
There’s something interesting between the phone number in the whois result and the one in this address, no?
