This is one of best digital campaigns I’ve seen in recent times – and it is all due to its compelling content!
The concept is about 6 lines of dialog. They are,
What is that?
It’s a unicorn.
Never seen one up close before.
Beautiful.
Get away. Get away.
I’m sorry.
That’s it! These are the lines! Philips has tied up with Ridley Scott Associates (RSA) and got 5 directors to make short films with just these lines! And the films are brilliant!
Yes, the Philips plug is way too in-your-face (the video on YouTube is shown inside a Philips TV screen!), but the idea is brilliant and so are the films! I loved ‘The Gift’ in particular! There is also a user-engagement part of the campaign where aspiring film makers are invited to make the 6th film with the same lines!
