Jio Studios’ trailer has, “Mera data khatam ho gaya”. Did they think through this?

Here’s the trailer of the upcoming film, Lukka Chuppi.

It seems funny. I like it 🙂 But, here’s a completely unrelated-to-the-film observation… on the domain of marketing and branding.

Jio Studios is mentioned at the 31st second of the trailer, very prominently.

Towards the end of the trailer, Aparshakti Khurana says that his phone’s data got over!

For something presented/ produced by *Jio* Studios, a character in the trailer saying, ‘Mera data khatam ho gaya‘ seems terribly off-brand, when Jio’s entire pitch (and proof-point) is a LOT of data for Indians 🙂

I wonder if someone from Jio considered its implications, at the trailer/film level (and perhaps, possibly, pitch it as a rival network’s connection).
